Regan and Ryan's Wedding

To Kick off 2009 we photographed Regan and Ryan's Wedding in Forth Worth! Regan is actually the owner and wedding coordinator for Details and Designs Events, and we feel so honored that she chose to trust us with capturing her day! Check out some of our favorites from the day:

We started out at Regan's house where the girls were getting ready.

Regan changing into her dress where ceremony took place at Christ Chapel Bible Church near downtown Fort Worth.

Regan reads a note from Ryan.

Ryan also got a letter from Regan along with a box of letters she wrote to her future husband when she was younger.

Ryan's parents help him put a photo of his grandparents inside his jacket.

Proud daddy!

Not sure what she's looking at, but the body language is great. ^_^

That's a lot of bride's maids and groom's men!

We did it! High Ten!

The reception was held at the Forth Worth Club in downtown Forth Worth.

First dance.

Regan's dad had a pretty funny speech.

The groom's cake reflected a hunting theme. ^_^

This band totally rocked the house! High energy for sure!

Lots of guys on hand to catch that garter!

Regan and Ryan had a unique gift for their guests... instead of a photo booth it was a booth that recorded 7 seconds of action which in 2-3 minutes was turned into a Flip Book!!! How cool is that!?

Time for the Happy Couple to be sent off in their horse drawn carriage.

Polka Dot Bride

This is just too cool!!!

Polka Dot Bride (an Australian wedding blog dedicated to inspiring brides to create a beautiful wedding uniquely.) contacted us and wanted to feature Emalie and Jonathan's wedding on their site.

I gotta say Emalie and Jonathan really did a wonderful job planning out all the details. It was definitely a lovely wedding!

Click here to read the article and check out all the all their wedding ideas/features. It is a fun and resourceful site!

Sweet Pea Events

Scott and I had recently met with Kelly of Sweet Pea Events. She is very sweet and fun to hang out with. She moved to the DFW area last October from Seattle area and is looking to continue doing what she loves.

She asked us a few interesting questions like:
What is your typical day like as a Wedding Photographer – on the day of the wedding, and also on a non-wedding day?

Favorite tips or advice for the bride and grooms to be?

When you aren’t working, what are some of your favorite things to do?

Hope we aren't too lame ;p hehehe. Click here to check out her blog post and our answers.
