Scott and I feel very honored when we were asked by Emily and Marcus to shoot their wedding. I don't know how often it happens but every time we have sibling(s) of the bride or groom who want us to shoot their weddings we feel so privileged.
As some of you may know, we had shot Maggie and Kyle's wedding (Emily's sister) last year and *yay* for us Emily and Marcus liked our style and how we approached the weddings so got to shoot theirs too. Thanks guys for making us a part of your big day!
Emily and Marcus got married at All Saints Catholic Church, with the reception at the Bent Tree Country Club. Here goes:
As the girls are getting ready, Whitney picks up the veil and tries it on just because she wants to. So cute and funny at the same time.
A few touch ups.
Marcus' mom pops in to give him a hug.
Sneak peek of the Sanctuary.
Kim gets emotional seeing Emily in her wedding dress.
All the cutie pies at the wedding.
ok... one more ;p they are just so cute.
Walking out for the first time as a married couple.
I wasn't too sure why they didn't recess but I kept shooting...
Whew... they thought they are done.
Reaction from Emily's parents once we all figured it out what had happened and they left before the ceremony was over. (Hey guys...we thought it was over too)
As the rest of the ceremony concludes.
Ok this one is the real last one.
Wonderful Jordan and Megan from jordanpayneevents.com did a superb job as usual.
First dance.
I just love Maggie's toast about how shy Emily and Marcus are. It was pretty funny actually as she said their families sometimes wondered what they did on their dates, and if they even talked to each other. She ended with a sentiment about how she can't wait until she and Emily have babies and and they can share those new moments together. So sweet!
It is that song... downtown do your thing... do your thing...
Let me give you the link to
our favs from Emily and Marcus'wedding otherwise I will just keep going on and on. I love telling wedding stories and of course showing all the images along with it.
