Hena and Sonu's Engagement

Beautiful day, colorful Sari and wonderful lighting. We had fun photographing Hena and Sonu's engagement.

Pillsbury bake-off

We recently had a great opportunity to shoot alongside with our great friend Joe Dickie of Generation Photography. One of the nicest photographers you will ever meet. It was so nice to see you again, Joe!

We were covering part of the Pillsbury bake-off event. It was so much fun, we met so many nice people from all over the place. Also we would like to send our congratulations to all the finalists and especially to Carolyn Gurtz for her million-dollar cookie. That is just amazing!

Some of the finalists.

We started off photographing "Downhome with the Neely's" dinner at The Fairmont Hotel. Pat and Geena Neely run 4 very successful Memphis BBQ restaurants with their families, and also host their show on the Food Network. They were rocking the grill all night and oh boy let me tell you about their BBQ. It was just so tender, juicy, and really everything they made was just soooo...o good. I love it all!!! Since that day, I have been craving the Neely's BBQ, I want more!!!

A quick portrait for Pat and Geena.

The morning after, we photographed "Lifestyle Seminar" at The Arlington Hall. 30 women rotate through 5 workshops focusing on hair and make-up, fashion, cooking and entertaining at home.

Jonathan Antin, Stylist with Marsela and her team from Salon M.

Kelli Delaney, Celebrity stylist.

Elizabeth Harrison, Party Confidential.

Chef Kent Rathbun.

We had a blast! Our thanks to Nicole Mader for including us in this awesome event and the biggest thanks to Joe for trusting and having faith in us. We appreciate it!!!

Lamborghini & Apex Fifth Annual Track and Concorso

We recently photographed the Lamborghini of Dallas and Apex Driving Academy Fifth Annual Track and Concorso event at Motorsport Ranch this month.

This was a very very cool event for Lamborghini owners as well as fans of cars in general who could come out and see some of the rare cars on display as well as get a chance to drive their own cars (not limited to Lamborghinis) on the track with in-car instruction in the usual great Apex fashion. Lamborghini of Dallas also had a number of Gallardos and even one Gallardo Superleggera on hand for rides around the 1.7 mile track. The weather was beautiful, the cars were beautiful, and everyone involved with the event as well as all the people we met were very friendly and made for a great day.

Here's a few favorites of ours (and a link below)... believe or not there are probably twice as many that we have as well, with more Apex staff, and variations of shots, etc. but we figured this was long enough for a edited down gallery. It was hard for us since we liked so many.

Red Miura.... ohhhhh drooolll soooo sweet...

Thanks again for a super awesome day, and all the amazing rides I got (Tem didn't get any rides, as she soldiered out to the corner station to get some moving shots)! Next time! We appreciate everything and hope you all like the photos!

Olive Relish

Olive relish is Olivia's personal gratitude journal. To be honest, I don't remember/know how we found it but we both are so entertained by her posts ^^ hehe. It is really fresh, cute and filled with positive messages. She writes at least one thing every day that she feels thankful for, for example this post about Financial Stability is a great and fun read, isn't that neat or what?!

By the way, we are no strangers, we met Olivia and Alan a few years ago and honored to be their wedding photographers last April. By the way, happy anniversary guys!!!

Check her blog out (Olive relish), it will put smiles on your faces, it sure does for me. ^_^

Thanks for brightening up my day, Olivia!!!

Maggie and Kyle's Wedding

We knew we were going to have a lot of fun photographing Maggie and Kyle's wedding when we first met with them. They held their ceremony at The Cathedral Guadalupe and reception at The Empire Room. They were so happy and calm the whole day.

Once again, congratulations guys! Here are some of my favorite images.
